Intellectual Property Notice

Best Brands EG operates as a buying agent. We source authentic pre-owned and new luxury goods on behalf of our customers from authorised retailers, licensed resellers, and private sellers worldwide. We are not an authorised retailer, distributor, licensee, official reseller, or representative of any brand whose products appear on our platform. No sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation with any trademark owner is claimed or implied.

Trademark names and brand identifiers are used solely for the purpose of accurately describing the goods being offered — a nominative fair-use purpose recognised under international trademark law. The trademarks and trade dress of third-party brands remain the exclusive property of their respective owners.

Product photography displayed on our platform is either (a) owned by Best Brands EG and produced by our studio team, (b) licensed from the brand or supplier, or (c) provided by the seller as part of their listing. We make reasonable efforts to obtain appropriate permissions for supplier-provided imagery. If you are a rights holder and believe your copyrighted image is being used without authorisation, please contact us at the address below.

Our independent inspection process is conducted by Best Brands EG and does not constitute a certification by, or on behalf of, the relevant brand. We do not claim that any brand has endorsed, verified, or approved our inspection methodology. Our process is designed to give customers reasonable confidence in the authenticity of items we source; it is not a guarantee, and final determinations of genuineness remain with the brand owner.

Best Brands EG respects the intellectual-property rights of others. We respond promptly to notices of alleged infringement that comply with applicable law. To submit a takedown notice, send a written communication to ip@bestbrands-eg.com containing all of the following:

1. Identification of the intellectual-property right you claim is being infringed (e.g., trademark registration number, copyright ownership statement).
2. Identification of the material on our platform that you claim is infringing, with sufficient detail to allow us to locate it (e.g., product URL).
3. Your contact information: name, postal address, telephone number, and email address.
4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorised by the intellectual-property owner, its agent, or the law.
5. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are the owner, or are authorised to act on behalf of the owner, of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
6. Your physical or electronic signature.

We will acknowledge receipt within 72 hours and aim to resolve compliant notices within 15 business days. Incomplete notices may be returned for clarification. Intentionally false notices may result in liability under applicable law.

If you believe material was removed as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to ip@bestbrands-eg.com. Your counter-notification must include: (1) identification of the material that was removed; (2) a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake; (3) your contact information and consent to jurisdiction; and (4) your physical or electronic signature. We will review counter-notifications within 15 business days.

Best Brands EG will, in appropriate circumstances, terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers of intellectual-property rights. We reserve the right to make this determination in our sole discretion.
