Care Guide
How to keep your pieces looking right, season after season.
Washing
Check the care label before washing. Most delicate fabrics benefit from a cold, gentle cycle or hand washing. High-temperature washes degrade structured garments and natural fibres faster than any other factor.
Drying
Air dry flat wherever possible. Avoid the tumble dryer for silk, cashmere, and structured wovens. Hang knits horizontally rather than pegging — pegging distorts the shoulder.
Ironing
Match the iron temperature to the fabric — not the other way. Iron wool and cotton from the reverse side. Steam is effective for light creases without direct contact on delicate surfaces.
Storage
Fold knitwear — never hang it. Store suits and structured jackets on wide, padded hangers. Leather goods belong in cotton dust bags, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
Fabric care
Treat stains immediately with cold water. Blot, do not rub — rubbing spreads the stain and damages the weave. For silk, embroidery, or beaded pieces, professional dry cleaning is the appropriate first step.
When uncertain, read the care label sewn inside your garment. For specific questions about a piece you bought from us, contact our team — we can advise on the exact fabric composition and care requirements.
